Tone-deaf administrators! You have got to acknowledge that in these budgetary times, such moves - anywhere - will appear callous and aloof to students and parents who will have to go deeper into debt to finance college tuitions, as well as to laid-off, terminated, and/or furloughed faculty and staff that would rather be working than have a $100 thousand dollar statue of an administrator in a dining hall for students to eventually hit with mashed potato bombs (Belushi-style) in a food fight!
