REVOLT

First it was the 'left' turn after the election, then Benghazi coverup accusations. Activists have a list of demands for the conservative network, which some say is 'not as fair.' David Freedlander reports.

POPE BUDDIES

The long-awaited meeting between former Pope Benedict XVI and his successor, Pope Francis, went better than anyone had prayed for. Greeting each other on the helipad where Francis' helicopter arrived, the two instantly embraced and appeared overjoyed to be together. Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi said the 45-minute meeting went incredibly smoothly. When the two entered the chapel to pray together, Benedict offered Francis the kneeler designated for the Pope. Francis allegedly insisted that Benedict kneel with him, telling the former Pope: "We're brothers."

Far Out

The Curiosity rover found gray mud on the red planet, suggesting that there may have been life—and that we might be descended from it. Lawrence Krauss explains how it could have happened.

Tragic

Police arrested two Georgia teens on Friday and charged them with the murder of a 13-month-old boy shot dead in his stroller. Seventeen-year-old De'Marquis Elkins and a 14-year-old companion (whose name was not released because he is a juvenile) allegedly approached the boy, Antonio Santiago, and his mother, Sherry West, while the two were on a morning walk on Thursday. West told the AP that the boys demanded money from her; when she said she had none, Elkins allegedly fired a shot at the ground, then two more at West's ear and leg. Then, West says, Elkins walked around the stroller and shot her child in the face. The older boy is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder.

LETHAL BLAZE

Just hours after deadly riots tore through Burma, a fire blazed through a Burmese refugee camp in Thailand, killing at least 42. Allegedly started by a cooking accident, the fire turned many of the crowded camp's main buildings into ash. Conflicting reports on the number of victims remain, with some sources reporting as many as 62 dead. The camp—which houses some 3,700 refugees—is made up of temporary homes and thatch huts, 400 of which burned Saturday. A school, a clinic, and two food warehouses were also incinerated.
