BREAKING NEWS: Fed Leaves Rates Unchanged, Sees Them Staying Low for Two More Years

The Federal Reserve on Tuesday left its target on interest rates in the long-held range of 0-0.25%, and said it expects rates to stay at exceptionally low levels until at least mid-2013. The central bank also said downside risk to the economic outlook has increased and said it is prepared to employ other policy tools as needed. Stocks are extremely volatile on the news, rallying immediately after but now pulling back.
