| Posted: 27 Jul 2012 03:45 AM PDT I once heard a celebrity say that fame is like a currency that you can spend. Some people spend it selfishly in the press and in the tabloids. Others spend it on charitable causes and politics. I can’t remember the celebrity who said that. I don’t mind when a celebrity gets involved in a political issue. If you’re a citizen, you have a right to an opinion. I mind when people who think they are celebrities try to spend currency they haven’t earned.
Does it bother you when a celebrity wades into an issue and takes a stand? Have you ever had your political opinion influenced by a celebrity?                |
