RELIGIOUS GROUNDS
In a huge shift, the Supreme Court evaluated whether a religious belief is valid in the Hobby Lobby case. Jay Michaelson writes that today's ruling in favor of a religious exemption for some corporations may be a setback, in the long run, to the conservative crusade for "religious liberty." Now the government must start testing all sorts of religious claims.
COLD BLOOD
Three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped this month were found dead north of a Palestinian town near the city of Hebron on Monday. Eyal Yifrah, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and joint U.S.-Israeli citizen Naftali Fraenkel, 16, were hitchhiking home from the West Bank when they went missing on June 12. Members or associates of the Palestinian militant group Hamas are suspected of taking the boys, but the group's leadership denies playing a role. Since their disappearance, Israeli forces have arrested more than 240 Palestinians in connection to the abduction.
F-

An analysis of forcible sexual assault on campuses by the federal government found that Pennsylvania State University had the highest number of cases in 2012 with 56. Penn State was followed by the University of Michigan, which had 34, and Harvard University, which had 31. When it comes to per capita offenses, Gallaudet University had the highest rate, with 11.39 cases per 1,000 students. Grinnell College, Reed College, and Amherst College followed Gallaudet.

YOUNG GUN
It's increasingly common to see children armed with guns patrol the streets of Mosul thanks to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham's (ISIS) willingness to recruit kids. ISIS is hungry for fighters, especially as it makes gains in more cities throughout Iraq, reports Niqash from Iraq. Now, it appears to have found a fresh supply in young boys who find the mystique surrounding the extremist group all too appealing.
SICKO
Former police officer Steven Zelich liked to go on S&M sites as 'MrHandcuffs.' Two of the women he found wound up dead. He says it was rough sex gone wrong. So why the suitcases? Michael Daly investigates the sordid crime.
