Nothing like transparency and accountability, eh? You know, it never ceases to amaze me as just a peon professor in the university machine how administrators can indeed lose their perspective on things when they reach the top - even at a great institution such as the Naval Academy.

Well I hate to say this, but this happens all the time in the military. The checks and balances dont go all the way to the top and power corrupts. It is sad, and usually covered up.
