BREAKING NEWS: Wall Street Soars on Euro Hopes, Data; Dow Jumps 260

The markets soared on Friday as traders cheered upbeat consumer sentiment data and grew cautiously optimistic that European leaders would be able to keep the debt crisis in check. The Dow soared 260 points, or 2.19%, while the broad S&P 500 jumped 24.2 points, or 1.95%.
