BREAKING NEWS: Consumer Sentiment at Highest Level Since February 2011

A final reading on consumer sentiment for the month of January checked in at 75, higher than both a preliminary reading of 74 and an expected reading of 74.1, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters and the University of Michigan. The index is at its highest level since February 2011.
