US ratings agency Moody's says ten major banks, including Germany's Deutsche Bank, may be poised for a two-notch downgrade, as it reviews 114 financial institutions with global operations.

General Motors has reported unsatisfactory earnings for the final quarter of last year. Once again, the automaker's European division dragged down the whole company, which otherwise did very well.

French court upholds Le Pen conviction for Nazi remarks
A French court has upheld a conviction against National Front founder Jean-Marie Le Penn for downplaying Nazi crimes in France committed during World War II. Le Penn said the occupation "wasn't especially inhumane."
