Coty raises Avon bid with Buffett's blessing
(Reuters) - With the help of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc , fragrance maker Coty raised its bid for Avon by 6.5 percent to $10.65 billion and set a four-day deadline for the cosmetics company to start talks.
Serco and partners seal new nuclear deal with MoD
LONDON (Reuters) - Outsourcing group Serco said it has agreed an extended deal worth about 1.5 billion pounds ($2.4 billion) with Britain's Ministry of Defense to provide and maintain the country's nuclear warheads.
