Petronas agrees to renew bid for Canada's Progress: sources
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysian state oil firm Petronas will renew a bid for gas producer Progress Energy Resources, Petronas sources said, seeking to assure the Canadian government that the C$5.17 billion ($5.2 billion) deal will benefit the country.
Random, Penguin merging to form leading publisher
LONDON (Reuters) - Pearson said it would merge Penguin Books with Bertelsmann's Random House to create the world's leading consumer publisher, a day after Rupert Murdoch's Sunday Times said his News Corp group could bid for Penguin.

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Danish industrial enzymes maker Novozymes on Monday said it has agreed a 90 million-euro ($116 million) joint venture deal with Beta Renewables for biofuel projects, whereby Novozymes is to buy a 10 percent stake in Beta Renewables.
