Is President Obama a lizard man? -- No longer sitting there in Allentown --  Foreign policy man -- Iran marches on -- Poll of the Day: Romney surges --Tweet of Yesterday
1.) Is President Obama a lizard man?  -- "The Lizard King: The Shocking Inside Account of Obama's True Intergalactic Ambitions by a White House Staffer," edited and introduced by TheDC's Jamie Weinstein (ME!) and Will Rahn, is finally here. It may be the greatest book of the year, perhaps even the greatest book since Saddam Hussein released "Zabibah and the King." And it is sure to shake up Washington's establishment, whatever that is. What if every conspiracy about president Obama was true? Read the book to find out. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but mainly laugh. And it will really only make you cry if you get a paper cut, which is unlikely since it is an ebook. Ultimately, the book addresses one of the most sensitive questions in Washington, one that Washington's effete elites have refused to touch: Is President Obama a shape-shifting lizard man? The truth is out there. Buy the book now.

And read the first in a series of excerpts here.
2.) No longer sitting there in Allentown  -- Mitt Romney may be on the roll, but apparently in Pennsylvania he's just rolling out. TheDC's Gregg Re reports:

"Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign is diverting substantial resources from Pennsylvania to Ohio, according to a knowledgeable campaign source who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter. Field staff for the campaign were told about the decision during a conference call late Monday, the source said ... A Romney official denied to The Daily Caller that the campaign was moving out of Pennsylvania entirely, but confirmed that some of the state’s staff were headed to Ohio — a state every Republican president has won on the road to the White House."

Does anyone else find this bizarre considering his recent surge in the polls?
3.) Foreign policy man -- Mitt Romney took a break from attacking President Obama on the economy Monday to attack President Obama on foreign policy in an address focusing on the Middle East at the Virginia Military Institute. TheDC's Nicholas Ballasy reports:

"As examples of the danger that remains in the Middle East, Romney cited the death of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens 'likely at the hands of al-Qaida affiliates' and Iran getting closer 'than ever' to creating a nuclear weapon. 'I know the president hoped for a safer, freer and more prosperous Middle East allied with us. I shared this hope but hope is not a strategy. We can’t support our friends and defeat our enemies in the Middle East when our words are not backed up by deeds, when our defense spending is being arbitrarily and deeply cut, when we have no trade agenda to speak of, and the perception of our strategy is not one of partnership, but of passivity,' Romney said."
4.) Iran marches on -- Speaking of danger in the Middle East, a think tank report gives us alarming news on Iran. The AP reports:

"Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium to arm a nuclear bomb within two to four months but would still face serious 'engineering challenges' — and much longer delays — before it succeeds in making the other components needed for a functioning warhead, a respected U.S. think tank said Monday. While Iran denies any interest in possessing nuclear arms, the international community fears it may turn its peaceful uranium enrichment program toward weapons making — a concern that is growing as Tehran expands the number of machines it uses to enrich its stockpile of enriched uranium. As those fears grow, so does concern that Israel could carry out its threats to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities before that nation reaches the bomb-making threshold."
5.) Poll of the Day: Romney surges --Pew Research Center poll of likely voters: Mitt Romney 49%, President Obama 45%. The previous Pew poll had Obama up eight percentage points.
6.) Tweet of Yesterday -- daveweigel: The nice thing about polling-related punditry is that everyone who does it has a keen understanding of statistics.

SWING DANCE -- Source: Romney to pull resources out of Pennsylvania, focus on Ohio

'The Lizard King' has arrived! -- This is an excerpt from the new e-book from Daily Caller writers Jamie Weinstein and Will Rahn

Amid foreign contributions scandal, Obama campaign claims it tries to stop illegal donations -- However, the campaign offered no specifics about its social media fundraising system

Yates Walker: Barack Obama and the biggest lie in American history -- Maybe Mitt is a liar, but he's nothing compared to Obama.

Fred Bauer: Romney's turnaround -- From the 47% to the 100% -- The GOP nominee is gaining ground in the polls because he's framing conservatism in a way that appeals to a broad swath of the electorate.

Peter Wallison: Is Obama over-rated? -- Perhaps Obama isn't the remarkable intellect his supporters believe him to be.

David Cohen: When all else fails, call Romney a liar -- 'Liar' is the new 'racist.'

Mark Judge: The loneliness of the pro-life journalist -- 'You got the place to yourself.'
