It's not just the royal baby that has the U.K. up in arms. Prime Minister David Cameron has sparked a furor with new rules that would block online porn unless specially requested by a household. The Daily Beast's Nico Hines reports. (Also, you can still get your royal-baby fix at our live blog.)

TECH

One day life is normal. The next—why is all my email being sorted under tabs?! The Daily Beast's Winston Ross calms the hysteria over Gmail's new look—and offers quick fixes to go back to the way things were before.

BLACK AND WHITE

If you were wondering, race does matter in the Trayvon Martin case. A Washington Post–ABC News poll showed that reactions to the Zimmerman verdict were split across racial lines. Eight-six percent of African-Americans disapproved, while 51 percent of whites didn't have a problem with his acquittal. It's also divided across party lines: 22 percent of Democrats approved, while 65 percent of Republicans approved. The report that George Zimmerman saved someone from a truck crash did not factor into the poll.

CUTTING BACK

Parents are spending less money on their kids' college education, according to a report by student-loan provider Sallie Mae. The share of college costs paid by parents fell to 27 percent from 37 percent 3 years ago. Instead they are relying more on scholarships. Americans are also trying to cut costs by forgoing dorms: 57 percent of families said a student was living at home or with a relative, up from 43 percent 3 years ago. The drop in spending was particularly sharp among African-Americans, partly because fewer are enrolling in four-year private schools: 14 percent of students in African-American families were enrolled in four-year private schools this year, compared with 30 percent last year.

RUMORS

There's no way he went back to this after Weinergate, right?  Nightlife gossip site The Dirty has posted unverified images of sexual Facebook messages Anthony Weiner allegedly exchanged with a woman last summer. The screenshots haven't been confirmed and aren't dated, and the tipster is anonymous, so all this should be taken with copious heaps of salt, but BuzzFeed's Ben Smith asked Weiner's spokeswoman about the messages and has yet to receive a comment. The screenshots are of sexual messages on Facebook and another social network called Formspring, on which Wiener allegedly used the pseudonym Carlos Danger.
