Today's advice comes from Butler University's basketball coach, Brad Stevens.

He was asked how he competes against schools with bigger recruiting budgets who get their pick of top-ranked players.

His answer? He doesn't:

"People get caught up in rankings.

They're not always based on how that person reacts to adversity, how he acts in the community, or whether he performs in the classroom.

We want guys who are going to fit into our values and our vision."

"...When you sell your situation [like bigger universities do], you can't get outside of who you are. Who you are is the bottom line."
