BREAKING NEWS: Stocks Pummeled on Greece Worries, Dow Tumbles 297 Points

For a second straight session the Dow was hammered by nearly 300 points, with Tuesday's selloff sparked by word that Greece will hold a referendum on its just-agreed-upon bailout. Stocks bounced back midday when reports surfaced that such a referendum was not going to happen, but late in the session a spokesperson for the Greek government said the referendum was still expected. The Dow lost 297 points, or 2.5%, to 11657, yields on the 10-year Treasury fell below 2%, and oil and gold fell.
