Tiger Versus Mickelson And McIlroy At The Masters

The three biggest names at this week's Masters Tournament had eventful first rounds. But in the end, they were all clustered close together and in a good position to make a run this weekend.

Tiger Woods was able to overcome some terrible drives and keep his score at or below par all day. Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson lost a ball on the 10th hole which led to a triple-bogey. While not playing at the same time, that left Mickelson six strokes behind Tiger's score through ten holes.

Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy was able to overcome a double-bogey on the first hole and claw his way back to minus-1 to finish the day.

Above is the hole-by-hole breakdown. Read »
