With the Miami Heat losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night in game one of the NBA Finals, LeBron James is now 2-9 in 11 career Finals games, despite scoring 30 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out four assists.
In fact, if we look at Game Score (a stat that measures a player's all-around contribution), LeBron had his best game ever in the NBA Finals. Unfortunately for him, that is not saying much.
LeBron had an average Game Score of 22.9 this season, and yet his best game ever in the Finals was still only 22.3.
