Leadership and Management. In the academic world, and in a practical sense, they are not always synonymous. So, here is a great five minute overview from Jason Hiner, Editor of CIO Magazine, on the differences between leadership and management. Sure, it may be splitting hairs, or atoms, but as we know, some leaders are definitely not managers, and some managers are definitely not leaders.
