BREAKING NEWS: Rally In Stocks Powers Ahead, Dow Up 310

The massive rally in stocks gained strength around midday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 310 points, or 2.6%, at 12179. Hopes are high that the European deal struck in the wee hours of the morning over Greece's debt crisis will go a long way towards solving that nation's financial issues, while closer to home optimism is growing that the US will avoid a double-dip recession.
