BREAKING NEWS: Stocks Soar, Eyeing Record Month

The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged by 340 points Thursday, propelled by optimism out of Europe and lessening fears of a double-dip recession in the U.S. The blue-chip index is now about 1,400 higher than its low for the year and the Nasdaq Composite index is up 14% this month alone. Treasury prices fell sharply, meanwhile, with the yield on the 10-year Treasury soaring to 2.37%.
