BREAKING NEWS: Stock Futures Boosted by Jobs Report

Stocks are poised for a higher open Friday morning after the government said more jobs were created last month than was expected. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, off by about 25 points before the data release, are now up by 125 points, or 1.1%, while Treasury yields are moving sharply higher.
