Is Kobe Bryant Being Pushed Too Hard This Season?

Kobe Bryant's scoring is up more than three points per game this season. But he is also playing 4.3 more minutes per game compared to last year. And in a season in which the NBA is shoehorning 66 games into a four month schedule, this may be a bad sign for the Lakers when the playoffs start.

A couple of weeks ago, we saw that LeBron James' production is up despite playing fewer minutes than at any point in his career. That could go a long way towards making sure LeBron is fresh and able to dominate once the playoffs roll around.
