That gave him 49 career Champions League goals, ranking him fourth all-time. And at this point, it appears as though it is just a matter of time before he surpasses Raúl, who has scored 71 career goals in the tournament. Messi, at 24, is three years younger than Raúl was when he netted his 49th Champions League goal. Above is the list of every player that has scored at least 25 career goals in the Champions League.
