Despite all the lines you see at Apple stores, people in the U.S. are mostly buying their phones from carriers, according to data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, via AllThingsD. As good as Apple's customer service is, people feel more comfortable buying phones from the carrier they'll be dealing with.
