Not bad for a quarterback, who at 37-years-old, should have peaked 5-7 years ago. The chart below is a look at the Manning's career Adjusted Yards gained per Attempt (AY/A), which is one of the best ways to judge how well a quarterback is throwing the ball. AY/A is a lot like the popular Yards per Attempt, but penalizes the quarterback for throwing interceptions. What is amazing about Manning, is that outside of his historic 2004 season, when he threw a then-record 49 touchdown passes, Manning's career has looked very similar, if not slightly better, than several other all-time great quarterbacks.
