EU regulator probes Ryanair deals at French airport
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - EU antitrust regulators are investigating whether marketing support and airport charges deals between Ryanair and operators at France's Carcassonne airport gave the Irish low-cost carrier an unfair advantage in breach of EU rules.
Roche steps up overtures in Illumina bid battle
ZURICH (Reuters) - Roche Holding AG stepped up its charm offensive towards Illumina shareholders as it battles to take over the U.S. gene sequencing company, telling them its increased $6.7 billion bid represented concrete value in a high-risk market.
Molson Coors to buy StarBev for $3.5 billion
(Reuters) - Molson Coors Brewing Co's plan to buy East European brewer StarBev for 2.65 billion euros ($3.5 billion) will give it more exposure in developing markets, but the brewer may have been better off trying to improve its business in developed markets, analysts said.

(Reuters) - Printed circuit boards maker Viasystems Group Inc will acquire smaller rival DDi Corp for about $268 million in cash, to add products to its portfolio and expand its manufacturing base in North America.

Xstrata, Origin see $3.6 billion capex for Chile hydro
SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Energia Austral, owned by global miner Xstrata Copper and Australia's biggest energy retailer, Origin Energy, sees its Chilean hydroelectric power projects and transmission line requiring capital expenditures of up to $3.6 billion, company executives told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday.
