Facebook COO Says 'Email Is Probably Going Away' (VIDEO)

Hmmmm. I don't know what you think, but that's like saying we'll not be able to get by without land-line phones, VCRs, PCs.....what you think is crazy today might be tomorrow's future. I can question her statistics (only 11% of teens use email - hmmmm - they need an email address to join Facebook and their schools aren't going to communicate with them on a social network - yet). Plus, I'd take her conclusions with a grain of salt (about like Subway saying that Quizno's is not competition, or maybe even not a sandwich). However, I think that the trend if favoring social network usage overall versus email, though the two will coexist for at least a decade to come (like your own home and office, where you have both land-line phones AND use your cell).
