BREAKING NEWS: Selling on Wall Street Heats Up; Stocks Drop 2.2%

The markets were pummeled by debt fears on both sides of the Atlantic on Monday. The major U.S. market averages were off more than 2.2%, while the yield on the 10-year Treasury note fell below 2% as traders raced into the perceived safety of U.S. government debt.
