BREAKING NEWS: December U.S. Budget Deficit Wider Than Expected

The U.S. budget deficit hit $86 billion in December, higher than the $78 billion from the same month in 2010, the Treasury Department said Thursday. Economists forecast the gap to hit $81 billion.
