Today's advice comes from Fresh co-founder Lev Glazman's interview with Entrepreneur: "I think one of the most important things [entrepreneurs] have to keep in mind when they're partnering with another company or another brand, they've got to carve themselves a lot of autonomy in terms of what their brand is all about." After 10 years in business, Fresh, a skincare and beauty brand, partnered with French industry leader LVHM Group -- the company behind Louis Vuitton. Even though LVHM has a majority stake, Glazman and his co-founder still remained involved as co-presidents of the company. "It's very important when you are partnering to keep in mind that the business needs you and you've got to be able to have the type of partnership with people that would let you continue living that vision."
