Les Misérables was such a piece of shit. Not because of Anne Hathaway. Not because of Russell Crowe. They were okay, actually. I lay the blame on Hugh Jackman and his tongue. AND OH YEAH THAT ACCENT? AND THAT HIGH VOICE OF HIS? I dunno, dudes. Jean Valjean was miscast. Also, Les Misérables benefits from being a staged production. We don’t see extreme close-ups. I think watching pretty people look like poor French people is a tough thing to do. So I hated it. That is all. |
