Oscar Pistorius Granted $113K Bail Despite claims from the prosecution that he would flee the country, Oscar Pistorius was granted bail with $113,000. The South African court said they would deny his release until the cash was delivered. The double amputee and Olympic track competitor faces a charge of premeditated murder—the country's most serious murder charge—for shooting his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius claims to have mistaken his girlfriend for a robber locked in his bathroom, a story that officials said was fullproof. The trial, the judge decreed, will pick up on June 4. Sheryl Sandberg Forging Female Revolution Sheryl Sandberg champions women—and she is anxious to prove it. With the upcoming release of her new book, Lean In, the Facebook COO hopes to launch a movement that will address and eliminate the obstacles still faced by modern working females. It's a noble quest but leads to a pivotal question: will anyone join her?  In The New York Times review, reporter Jodi Kantor is skeptical. "Even her advisers acknowledge the awkwardness of a woman with double Harvard degrees...a 9,000-square-foot house and a small army of household help urging less fortunate women to look inward and work harder." Whether or not Sandberg will successfully reach the women she's targeting is impossible to predict. As the Times points out, it's a "social experiment" in the making. Still, the 1,400 libertarians who went to see Coulter debate Fox Business' John Stossel at the International Students for Liberty Conference in D.C. Friday were so put off by what came out of her mouth that they could not resist booing her. The resounding heckle came after Coulter stated that gay people can, in fact, get married--"They have to marry a member of the opposite sex." She also reportedly (it was bleeped) called libertarians pussies and it's probably safe to say the audience didn't appreciate that either.
