The National Rifle Association head offended Congress once again Friday with a speech at CPAC implying that universal background checks and gun registries are simply vehicles to confiscate guns. LaPierre's speech took an inflammatory turn when he claimed guns are vital in protecting women against rapists. "The one thing a violent rapist deserves to face is a good woman with a gun," he said. Benghazi Suspect Caught There's finally forward movement in the investigation into the September attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. One man suspected of being involved in the deadly attacks is being detained in Libya, according to CNN. Faraj al-Shibli was detained sometime in the past two days and has been interviewed by the FBI in the presence of U.S. authorities. It's still unclear what al-Shibli's role in the attack was or even if he was present at the time. Game Show Hosts for $400. Here's the clue: "He could replace Alex Trebek as the next host of Jeopardy." The answer, in the form of a question: "Who is Matt Lauer?" The Today show host is being strongly courted to replace Jeopardy's longtime emcee when he steps down in 2016, The New York Post reports. Lauer's own Today contract expires in 2015, meaning that should he choose not to renew, the timing would work out perfectly. Sources also tell the Post that feelers are being put to Anderson Cooper for his interest in taking over as Jeopardy quizmaster. But the real burning question is, will the replacement grow Trebek's iconic mustache?
