Social Media Receives Low Marks As A Collaboration Tool (BI Intelligence) Despite the increasing number of employers who decide to encourage social media use in the office, employees do not see it as an effective collaboration tool, according to a Mimecast survey of 2,600 employees in the U.S., UK, and South Africa. A full 60% of those surveyed said email to individuals was an effective collaboration channel, while 34% signaled emails to lists as effective, and 23% emails to teams.
