ROLLING

The club drug Molly—slang for a form of ecstasy—is linked to four recent deaths. It's not uncommon to get a 'bad batch.' But fans tell Abby Haglage the high is way too fun to give up.

CHILLING

The Senate Intelligence Committee released on Sunday 13 minutes of video depicting the gas attacks allegedly taken out by the Syrian government on August 21. The disturbing video, which shows victims convulsing and foaming at the mouth, was released amid U.S. efforts to convince both allies and members of Congress to intervene with an airstrike in Syria. On Saturday, Secretary of State John Kerry urged allies not to be "silent spectators to this slaughter." Now with the video readily available, that notion may hit home.

VATICAN RINGING

Got a minute to chat? The pontiff has been reaching out via phone and letters, sometimes unexpectedly touching the faithful and even non-Christians. By Barbie Latza Nadeau.

OVERZEALOUS

London authorities are on high alert after an attempted break-in on Monday at Buckingham Palace. But maybe they're getting a little overzealous. Two days later, a man walking through the palace's gardens was stopped by two officers for questioning and to verify his identity. The suspected intruder? None other than Prince Andrew, the Duke of York and Prince Charles's brother, who was in town for an engagement. The duke graciously took it in stride, accepting an apology from Scotland Yard on Sunday and acknowledging that sometimes they "get it wrong." We'd say that's a bit of an understatement.

U.S. Open

It''s the final everyone hopes for: the world's top two players will face one another in the men's singles final at the U.S. Open on Monday after they both won their semi-final matches Saturday. Novak Djokovic defeated Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, who came into the match after stunning defending Open champion Andy Murray in three sets. Djokovic played unevenly, dropping two sets to before Wawrinka began faltering with a groin injury in the fifth. World No. 2 Rafael Nadal had an easier time with French challenger Richard Gasquet, a spin stylist who was simply no match for Rafa's relentless power strokes. Nadal has beaten Djokovic in 15 out of their 21 previous matches; Nadal won their meeting in the 2010 U.S. Open final, and Djokovic prevailed in the rematch in the 2011 final.
