Suntory closing in on deal to buy GSK drinks brands: sources
LONDON (Reuters) - Japan's Suntory Beverage & Food is in advanced talks to buy GlaxoSmithKline's Lucozade and Ribena drinks for more than 1 billion pounds ($1.6 billion), in a deal that would pre-empt an auction of the brands, two people following the process said.
Gazprom, CNPC agree basic terms of long-awaited gas deal
ST PETERSBURG, Russia (Reuters) - Russia's top gas producer Gazprom and China's CNPC agreed on Thursday on basic terms of long-awaited gas supplies to China, paving the way for the final deal, which would cement Moscow's footing in the world's second largest economy.
