A right-wing sugar daddy, two groups of evangelical filmmakers, a famous composer, an Oscar nod, and an Academy backlash. David Sessions and Jonathan D. Fitzgerald take a look inside the strange story of 'Alone Yet Not Alone,' the conservative Christian movie the Oscars ousted.

FINAL STRAW

Late Thursday night, Yahoo! acknowledged that hackers using third-party malicious software were able to log in to multiple Yahoo! Mail accounts, and that the affected accounts must now create new passwords. Yahoo! said that it believes the hackers were using credentials obtained during the hacking of another company to access Yahoo! accounts, as people often use the same password on multiple accounts. Yahoo! declined, however, to say exactly how many accounts were compromised.

3.BUZZKILLS

Recreational marijuana may now be legal in Colorado, but the law isn't stopping longtime drug warriors with their message about the dangers it poses to children. From 'it's illegal under federal law,' to 'They are raping our forests!' The Daily Beast's Abby Haglage reports on the most and least rational arguments against legal weed.

GO AWAY

Step on up, folks. George Zimmerman has agreed to a celebrity boxing match for promoter Damon Feldman on March 1. Zimmerman says he is willing to fight anybody, including—he felt necessary to specify—black people. One other celebrity has already taken the bait. Rapper The Game, who is 6'5", 240 lbs, and has a tattoo of Trayvon Martin on his leg, says "I will beat the f**k out of him," and that "I would definitely take pleasure in it.  It's legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon."

JUSTICE

In anticipation of settlements for two lawsuits over claims that clergy sexually abused 362 people over decades and covered it up, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena will file for bankruptcy. While the details are still being finalized, the bankruptcy court would supervise the disbursement of the $15 million to identified victims as well as those who come forward later.
