Mail Accounts Hacked Late Thursday night, Yahoo! acknowledged that hackers using third-party malicious software were able to log in to multiple Yahoo! Mail accounts, and that the affected accounts must now create new passwords. Yahoo! said that it believes the hackers were using credentials obtained during the hacking of another company to access Yahoo! accounts, as people often use the same password on multiple accounts. Lawsuits Bankrupt Montana Diocese In anticipation of settlements for two lawsuits over claims that clergy sexually abused 362 people over decades and covered it up, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena will file for bankruptcy. While the details are still being finalized, the bankruptcy court would supervise the disbursement of the $15 million to identified victims as well as those who come forward later.
