Bieber Visits Japan's WWII Shrine From downing Sizzurp to re-opening Chinese and South Korean scars from World War II, Justin Bieber has had a trying 2014. In contrast to his usual arrogant defiance, the pop singer has actually apologized this time. Bieber got into hot water when he visited Japan's controversial Yasukuni war shrine this week and posted photos on Instagram. The shrine is generally seen by China and South Korea as a symbol of Japan's militarism and lack of remorse. He removed the photos and wrote on Instagram: "To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry." Ever the diplomat, he added, "I love you China and I love you Japan." Albert Pujols Hits 500th Home Run Albert Pujols of the Los Angeles Angels hit his 500th career home run on Tuesday night, making him only the 26th player in Major League Baseball history to reach that milestone. The three-time MVP winner hit not one but two home runs in Tuesday night's game against the Washington Nationals. Pujols is the only player to hit both his 499th and 500th home run in the same game, and the third youngest to reach the milestone. With Pujols knocking in five runs, the Angels won 7-2. "I knew this year, it was going to happen, whether it was tonight, tomorrow, two months from now.
