Read it at The Daily Beast BREAKTHROUGH 2. Ceasefire Reached in Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian president, declared Wednesday that a "lasting ceasefire" had been agreed on in eastern Ukraine. Poroshenko made the announcement after a phone call with President Vladimir Putin. However, soon after reports of a deal between Moscow and Kiev emerged, a Kremlin spokesman said Russia could make no such agreement as it had never been involved in any conflict in eastern Ukraine in the first place. Poroshenko then revised his statement to say, "The parties reached mutual understanding on the steps that will facilitate the establishment of peace." Phishing Blamed in Celeb Nude Pics Leak A source close to the investigation into the leaked nude photos of dozens of celebrities tells the Los Angeles Times the pictures were hacked from the stars' Apple devices through phishing. The source did not provide the newspaper any more details. Typically in phishing, a hacker pretends to be a computer company or communications provider trying to check security information. The hacker then gains access to passwords, personal emails, and other material. The nude photos of celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Kate Upton, and Kirsten Dunst vent viral on the Internet on Sunday after they were uploaded to a message board.
