At least one gunman killed a Canadian soldier at the national war memorial before opening fire inside parliament. Police are looking for more assailants. CDC to Monitor West Africa Travelers The CDC announced on Wednesday that all travelers from the three West African countries hit hard by Ebola will be monitored for 21 days after their arrival in the U.S. The new policy goes into effect Monday, and will include aid workers, journalists, and any other Americans returning from Liberia, Sierra Leone, or Guinea. It will begin in six states: New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and Georgia. State and local health officials will be the ones checking daily for fever or other symptoms. In an interview with People magazine, Renee Zellweger responded to widespread shock over photos that surfaced showing her looking drastically different. "I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," Zellweger, 45, said.  She also said the conversation is "silly" but that she felt compelled to discuss it because "it seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn't exist won't get off my porch until I answer the door."
