BAE Systems wins $709 milliom Typhoon support contract
LONDON (Reuters) - Europe's biggest defense contractor BAE Systems on Friday said it had won a 446 million pound ($709.58 million) deal to provide engineering support for Eurofighter Typhoon jets, helping sustain some 600 jobs in Britain.
SK hynix in initial Elpida bid; Micron, Toshiba circling

Japan's Tepco scraps plans for new reactors at stricken plant
TOKYO (Reuters) - Tokyo Electric Power Co, or Tepco, said on Friday it had notified Japan's trade ministry it was dropping plans for two more nuclear reactors at its Fukushima Daiichi plant, paralyzed last year by a devastating earthquake.
