Two weeks to the end of the year. Stop the energy tax hike.

New energy taxes could make it more expensive to produce energy here at home. New energy taxes could make you pay more at the pump, hurt job growth, and make us more dependent on foreign energy. At a time when 94% of Americans believe energy security and producing more oil and gas here at home is important, do new energy taxes sound like a good idea to you? Do your part to stop the energy tax hike. Tell Washington: “No New Energy Taxes”   If you disagree with Washington’s new tax plans, your elected officials in Washington need to hear from you. Congress needs to increase U.S. energy production and support American energy security, not raise energy taxes.   It’s your choice: Do you want to unlock America’s energy potential and strive for energy independence, or keep it locked under our feet? Do you want the U.S. to be even more reliant on foreign sourced energy to fuel our cars, provide us with heating and air conditioning, and power our economy? Should we be encouraging companies to create U.S. jobs and boost our economy? Our nation can’t afford higher energy prices and more foreign energy imports.
