Danica Patrick's Latest Race Shows That Her NASCAR Career May Be On The Upswing

After Danica Patrick finished eighth at the Daytona 500, many in and around NASCAR knew she would have a hard time maintaining that success throughout the season on the different tracks. However, after struggling in her first four races after Daytona, Patrick rebounded with a 12th place finish at Martinsville which could be a sign of good things to come.

Martinsville was a major test for Patrick as it was just her fifth career race on a short track and first at Martinsville. And at just over one-half mile, Martinsville is the NASCAR equivalent of playing a full-court basketball game in somebody's living room.

However, Patrick was able to withstand the constant bumping and even overcame an early spin to record the second-best finish of her career. Here's a look at Danica's career so far in the Sprint Cup series...
