KIDNAP

The two brothers of alleged Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro were known around town as friendly drunks with no apparent jobs, girlfriends, or cars. They lived with their mother, a Jehovah's mom. And now they're pariahs. The Daily Beast's Steve Miller reports on a family in the crosshairs. Plus, Michael Daly on how Cleveland proved the perfect home for Castro.

INFERNO

At least eight people were killed in Bangladesh Thursday after an 11-story garment factory went up in flames. The fire, fueled by huge piles of acrylic products used to make sweaters, killed two major political leaders in the country. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene of the Tung Hai Sweater Ltd. Factory in the capital of Dhaka, the first few floors of the building were already engulfed in flames. Speaking to reporters, the deputy director of the fire service Mamun Mahmud described their desperate attempt to flee the building. "We recovered all of them on the stairwell on the ninth floor," he said. The deadly fire comes as the death toll from an eight-story building collapse in Dhaka passed 900 this week.

BOMBSHELL

Choreographer Wade Robson swore for 20 years that Michael Jackson never touched him when they shared a bed. Now he calls the late star a "monster." What happened? Diane Dimond reports.

NOT A VACATION

As investigators continue to zero in on Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev's 2011 trip to Russia, a growing list of his contacts there is heightening suspicion that he may have adopted his radical views in the nation. Tsarnaev's voyage to Russia was allegedly a vacation to visit his uncle, a major player in Russia's Islamic world who is now being held by the police. Authorities suspect it was his uncle who brought him to a fundamentalist Salafi mosque in Makhachkala, where he may have been approached by a variety of contacts about joining Russia's Islamic insurgency. Russian authorities continue to assert that Tamerlan was radicalized in the United States—while his family insists that his trip Russia trip was spent "reading novels and reconnecting with his family."

NABBED

Will the Taliban claim responsibility? Gunmen in Pakistan kidnapped the son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani during an election rally Thursday in the city of Multan—the family's power base. Ali Haider Gilani was campaigning for a provincial legislative seat in Saturday's national election when he was abducted by gunmen who opened fire, fatally shooting his secretary. While the motive of the kidnapping is unclear, suspicions have turned to Taliban militants who have threatened political candidates, especially those running in liberal and secular parties, and have previously disturbed political rallies with suicide and remote-controlled bombings. Gilani's kidnapping comes two days after a leading candidate in the election was hospitalized after falling during a campaign race.
