Russia's VTB in talks to sell Rosbank stake
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's second-largest bank VTB said it was in talks to sell its stake of around 10 percent in Societe Generale's Russian unit Rosbank, with the French parent seen as the likely buyer.

Two Bahraini banks in merger talks as consolidation picks up
DUBAI (Reuters) - Bahrain's Al Salam Bank and BMI Bank, an affiliate of Oman's Bank Muscat , have announced plans to merge, a tie-up which would create the kingdom's third-largest bank by assets, the lenders said in a statement.
