Interpol Warns of Escaped Suspected Terrorists It's a plot straight out of a blockbuster thriller: Interpol released a global alert on Saturday to member countries asking for help in determining whether several prison breaks that occurred over the last month are linked. Hundreds of terrorism suspects have escaped from prisons in countries including Iraq, Pakistan and Libya. The alert comes just two days after the U.S. State Department issued a worldwide travel alert and closed diplomatic facilities in the Middle East, South Asia and North Africa in relation to possibly nefarious movements by al Qaeda. Twitter Cracks Down on Abuse After a rash of scary, misogynistic tweets directed at high-profile female users, Twitter cracked down on Saturday by issuing new rules intended to curb abuse. Like Facebook, Twitter will now feature a button allowing users to report abuse, rather than forcing them to find a particular form on its help page. The site's rules statement was also updated to clarify that it will not tolerate "targeted abuse," which includes threats, accounts dedicated to harassment and ganging up on a single user. Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe was officially declared president again on Saturday with 61 percent of the vote from Wednesday's election -- amid claims of electoral fraud. This officially stands as Mugabe's seventh victory, although his opponent has promised legal action. No major outside groups were invited to monitor the election, leading Secretary of State John Kerry, who cited "electoral irregularities," to say that Mugabe's election does not "represent a credible expression of the will of the Zimbabwean people."
