Are you gearing up for the final episodes of "Breaking Bad," which returns to AMC Sunday night? Good. So are we. Get up to speed with the convoluted tale of a meth monster with The Daily Beast's Andrew Romano, who runs down seven key plot points to remember on the eve of the final season.

RECALL

As of Wednesday, San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has been accused of sexually harassing at least 13 women—including eight female veterans who were sexually assaulted in the military. As the allegations stack up, The Daily Beast's Caitlin Dickson reports on the growing campaign to oust the boss.

FRIGHTENING

Two British women were walking the historic city center in Zanzibar, Tanzania, when they were splashed with acid by two men on a motorbike. The women, who were volunteer teachers on the East African Island, were treated at a local medical center before the British consulate was able to get them to a hospital in mainland Tanzania. In a statement, the Zanzibar government called the attack "a great tragedy" and offered a reward, the equivalent of about $6,000, to anyone with information that could assist in arresting the offenders.

RAMPAGE

A Dallas shooter who visited two homes and killed four people late Wednesday night has been identified as Erbie Bowser, 44, a former teacher and Army staff sergeant. Bowser appears to have been trying to kill his ex-wife and a former girlfriend, both of whom are believed to be among the victims. Bowser threw a hand grenade into the living room of one of the houses he attacked before shooting two women. He had a history of domestic violence and attempts to evade arrest. Four victims who remain alive are hospitalized.

POT PILGRIMAGE

Dr. Sanjay Gupta loves pot and he doesn't care who knows it. In the famed neurosurgeon's new documentary, Weed, he embarks on a pot pilgrimage that ends in him changing his stance on medical marijuana. Gupta claims that he and others who spoke out against it were "systematically misled" by the DEA, which classifies the drug as "highly abusive." After watching patients across the globe benefit from it, he's changed his mind. "[I've] come to the realization that it is irresponsible not to provide the best care we can ... care that could involve marijuana." Gupta now plans to make it his mission to "genuinely and honestly" spread knowledge about the positive effects of marijuana.
