And while it is less than the nearly $40 billion the GOP House proposed to cut last year, the bill still lops off $8 billion over 10 years from the federal food-stamp program. Bieber Charged for Toronto Assault Just a week after being arrested and charged for driving under the influence in Florida, teenage pop star Justin Bieber is being charged in Toronto with assaulting a limousine driver last month. While he turned himself in at a Toronto police station amid swarming paparazzi and screaming girls, his lawyer says Bieber is innocent.
