NO FUTURE
The war in Gaza has killed hundreds of children. What is it like to be one of the living? Jesse Rosenfeld reports from a shelter full of children. "I don't know if I will live," says a 10-year-old girl. If she does, she wants to be a doctor or journalist. A boy the same age says he'll probably fight Israel. "I just want to protect people."
BRUSH 'EM OFF

President Obama told Republicans to "stop just hating all the time" in reponse to the House GOP's move Wednesday to file a lawsuit against him. Calling the lawsuit alleging he exceeded his powers in executing the Affordable Care Act a "political stunt," Obama said Republicans only have a few years left until they "can be mad at the next president." Democrats have tried to link the lawsuit to talk of impeaching the president, even though Speaker Boehner says he has no plans to impeach Obama.

SWEATY

On Tuesday, the European Union finally decided to levy serious sanctions against Russia, and the Kremlin is starting to get worried. BACK OFF

There's increasing buzz about an Elizabeth Warren 2016 run for the White House, but the senator won't get a dime from her own big donors. David Freedlander talks to her big backers, one of whom said she would tell Candidate Warren: "Are you out of your goddamn mind?"

NERD OUT

Long dismissed as impossible, there is now a space race for the best possible site to find other forms of life. Saturn's moon Enceladus has taken the lead: 101 active geysers shooting water from cracks in its southern hemisphere have been discovered. That is important since water coming from deep inside the moon means there may be a reservoir of permanent liquid water there were life could thrive. The discovery came from images from NASA's Cassini space probe and was announced in two papers in the Astronomical Journal.
