Uzi Death Called 'Industrial Accident' Arizona law enforcement officials said no criminal charges would be filed related to the incident where a 9-year-old girl accidentally shot and killed her instructor with an Uzi. In a statement, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said there are "no charges pending" in regards to the shooting of Charles Vacca, 39. Instead, after watching the now unfortunately viral video of the shooting accident, the sheriff's office said the death will be "viewed as an industrial accident." In the video, Vacca is seen guiding the girl on how to handle the Uzi, saying, "All right, full auto." Moments later, the girl loses control of the submachine gun and strikes Vacca in the head. Lifting the Curtain on Lethal Injection A botched Oklahoma execution carried out with untested drugs, and hidden from view, has kick-started a legal campaign for uncensored public access to capital punishment. Ferguson Protesters Sue for $41.5M A $41.5 million lawsuit was filed Thursday by the Black Lawyers for Justice on behalf of five protesters who were arrested, beaten, tear-gassed or shot with rubber bullets in Ferguson, Missouri. The suit has been filed against the city of Ferguson, St. Louis County, the police chiefs of both and several individual officers. One of the "Ferguson Five," 23-year-old Dwayne Matthews Jr., said he was walking to his mother's house when he was confronted by police, shot with rubber bullets multiple times, almost drowned in a drainage ditch, and was pepper-sprayed. He says police used racial epithets during the arrest and called him "mop-head."
